Husband and I just picked up our custom-made worm bin from Hunter Olson and couldn’t be more satisfied. As requested Hunter used rough sawn cedar, included two trays and an easily accessible bottom shelf for the worm castings. Also, as requested he included a lock for the cover to prevent our local raccoons from accessing the food scraps. We met Hunter at the Aberdeen Farmers Market which he attends on some Saturdays, along with the Ocean Shores City Farmers Market. He was able to construct the worm bin within a 2 week time frame and charged us a very reasonable price. Husband and I will be working with another Aberdeen Farmers Market vendor to obtain worms for the bin. We are excited to experiment with different food and yard waste and ultimately get worm castings and “tea” into our vegetable garden.
We so appreciate purchasing from a friendly local source rather than from Amazon.
